Children’s national hospital
Children’s National Hospital relies on generous giving to push forward in innovation in technology, retaining staff at the top of their fields, investment in forward-thinking medicine, both in and beyond the hospital. Their 360 approach knows that good healthcare starts in the community. So they also invest in mental health and community outreach to start wellness at home in every community regardless of access. Fundraising efforts are ongoing, but culminate in a large in-person event held every fall. But in 2021 the event was moved to virtual making the weight of the virtual materials even greater. We put together a series of 6 videos that were shot throughout their campus over a period of 5 days, with only 2 and a half weeks to edit all of that footage. It took a village of safety experts, nimble camera teams, a flexible creative team, and many late nights to pull this series together in such a tight timeline. But the event was very successful in securing large donations from the top 1% members of the guest list. Children’s could not have been happier.
Novant health uva health system
In 2020-2022 we produced seemingly an immeasurable amount of fully integrated content continuously updating patients on the state of COVID, CDC regulations, and ability to see clients. This required us to create a few departure campaigns stylistically that could be adapted for multiple languages, didn’t require in hospital filming, and felt safety driven. This is one of my favorite examples.
Carle Hospital - Brand
We were approached by Carle to develop a new campaign that not only celebrated over 100 years in the Champaign-Urbana area, but that also thanked the community for being the living, breathing reason for doing every they do. We looked to the actual community as our inspiration and community members for our talent. The result was a sweet, personal spot that differentiates Carle from the sea of in-hospital marketing.
Instacare - carle
Carle approached us with a new medical visitation platform in the form of an app. Powered by MDLive, this tool allows patients to video chat with a doctor all online 24/7. This revolutionary new method of practice was a brand new offering for Carle so we chose to brand it as a product known as "InstaCare" – with an iconography look to tell the story of as quickly as possible. This campaign has been hugely successful and has lowered waiting room volume, patient costs, and promoted the Carle brand as an advanced competitive hospital.
3d mammography - Carle
In April of 2016, Carle implented 3D mammography technology into their hospital system. Though they were hesistant to stray from their traditional branding in print, we were able to explore the inspiration of 3D Technology in social tactics that were hugely successful in spreading the message.
The 3D Mammography campaign was largely driven by social integration. We used a variety of emphatic, and 3D inspired social tactics surrounded around our message to "See More of the picture with 3D Mammography."
bcam - #Gramyourmam campaign - Carle
The #GramYourMam social initiative was launched in October to inspire women to get their annual mammogram. This video was used to introduce the Carle network to the initiative, and to inspire women to share photos with the special women in their life reminding them to get their mammogram. It is amazing what donated photos, $50 stock music, and undergrad imovie skills can create.
Nurse Recruitment - Carle
For nurse recruitment we were asked to bring some extra ideas that might be a little bit more aggressive in Carle's search for the top candidates. We decided to target surrounding area hospitals with a snapchat filter demonstrating how great life was at Carle. This campaign was hugely successful in changing the opinion about Carle's office culture in general.
